Snow Melt and Snow

Went back to Rocky Mountain National Park again today.
Dropped down into a meadow below one of the glacier areas off of Trail Ridge Road and got this shot.
Still a lot of snow around and the wildflowers are the best I have ever seen.

Collared Lizard

I've always wanted to see one of these lizards. I found him just a little further up the trail from the Diamondback in the previous post. This is the state lizard of Oklahoma and are also known as "Mountain Boomers". This is a male, the females are light brown.
