Taken Sunday afternoon June17th from the entrance to Redstone Canyon. Fire was actively burning in the canyon and was being driven by record heat(99degrees Fahrenheit) and gusting 50 mph winds.
The same day, shot from the top of Horsetooth Reservoir.
Saturday June23rd. The fire had laid down for the last two days with containment hitting 60%. Strong winds and record heat have given the fire new life and dropped containment down to 45% with 900+ new evacuations ordered as the fire moves north towards Glacier View and Red Feathers.
