Currently being used as a gymnasium for the Optimist Club of Moore, Oklahoma. This was originally a World War II airplane hanger. The ceiling and all of the beams are wood and this is one of only five hangers of its type left in the US. Funds are currently being sought to help restore this building, if not it will be bulldozed.
I've always wanted to see one of these lizards. I found him just a little further up the trail from the Diamondback in the previous post. This is the state lizard of Oklahoma and are also known as "Mountain Boomers". This is a male, the females are light brown.
