Another perfect morning at String Lake. String Lake is located in Tetons National Park, Wyoming. I'm usually visiting the park in mid September and early morning here almost always is like this. Perfect wind free reflections with touches of fog on the surface. Elk are always bugling this time of the year and I usually see one or two large bulls.
I've always wanted to see one of these lizards. I found him just a little further up the trail from the Diamondback in the previous post. This is the state lizard of Oklahoma and are also known as "Mountain Boomers". This is a male, the females are light brown.
